Default Slight Progress

Picked up a set of axial 8013 beadlocks and moab xl's off d'bay...definite narrowing called for! Got the whites so I can dye them later.

I used the drill press/cut off wheel technique to take out aprox. 1.125", and epoxy'd. Overall width is now 2"

Here is the mockup after the epoxy cured:

I need to mill the ends of the 12mm-14mm widener/adapters to 17mm and narrow them up quite a bit, and do some SERIOUS foam cutting. With the new found ground clearance I should be able to put my droop shocks back on and not get hung up on everything.

The good news is that I finally finished narrowing and milling my adapter ends for 17mm....the bad news is that on the test run I got trigger happy.

Extreme flex situation + wedge of the left front + itchy trigger finger = WTF was that noise, and why does my tire look funny...DOH!

Very nice. Great job on narrowing the rims. Hope you guys will make it down this Saturday to Sioux City. I really would like to check out our supers.
