Default Laurel Lake Spillway/Corbin

Anybody on here go there? A few of us just got into this, we have wanted to come out the past two weekends but its been pretty bad weather. Whats the format out there? Is it all comp, or is there some freewheeling to?

When we go down there for a comp, it's a little bit of both actually. We run the comp and after it's over, a lot of us will go playing around, or 're-trying' courses from the comp etc. It's a great place to crawl at, I just wish the obstacles were more condensed. Check out the CKYC board, we've had 2 sanctioned events down there, and one more or less gtg.

I will definitely try to check it out. I haven't quite gotten to the comp level yet. Still dig-less. I am running an edge ax-10, white rovers, novak 55T, rooster crawler, and all aluminum links. I'm still fresh at all this but I'm slowly moving up on the equipment ladder.

Ah, you don't need all that stuff to come out and comp. We still have several guys that are dig-less!! They do pretty well also. If nothing else, come check out a comp and give it a shot just for the heck of it!!

I just got my first Crawler and didn't realize that there are company so close. I live in Corbin and have been wondering of some places to try out, I honestly thought spill way may be a little too gnarly. If any one would be interested in meeting down there I would be all for it maybe get some tips. My rig needs somethings before I can get too serious with this. But I've had fun so far
