I'm in Lex and have scouted some great spots in and around Fayette County. It would be cool to have some sort of get together in the spring.

Pinky, I run locally at High bridge. Just below the dam on the rocks just below the parking area. Not a lot of rocks but fun any way. If the river is not to high. I have also ran at Chimney Rock, on Herrington Lake. when the lake is down. I have another local spot that is real nice for just a few people but not a large group. It's private property and little parking good for 3 or 4 to practice. Other than that Green River, Foto just across the Ohio River at Louisville, and Bender Road off Hw 52w just across the river at Cincy,Ohio. The last two spots are sites used by Tri State Crawlers. Green River is used by SERCRC a couple times a year. I would suggest that we could as a group scout out several nice spots across our own state of Ky.,to find spots for our KY. group to crawl. I would think places like Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge and other park areas should have lots of places to crawl. Maybe Cumberland Lake since the water level is low now. I'll come by your shop this week to talk to you.. |

Natural Bridge is a fun place to crawl if you start walking up on some of the trails. I was there on easter sunday as well as at Broke leg Falls (menifee county i think it is) and had a blast at both. Broke leg falls is more of a trail ride in one direction and what seems to be a pretty good crawler section toward the actual falls. I couldn't venture too deep onto the crawler way because I had my daughter and it was kinda slick out at the time. I MIGHT be going there again this weekend (to broke leg), if I do, I'll be sure to take plenty of pics to share.
