have you looked into how the tranny and motor mount works? a flux tranny would work but you would have to make a different motor mount since the flux tranny is based on the nitro tranny. a better choice would be the newer emaxx or erevo tranny any reason you arent useing the twinforce tranny? |

| Savage Flux tranny
I have all of the trannys you mentioned and I use all of them. Just looking for another option. I haven't seen a Flux tranny in person so I'm just looking for opinions/ideas right now. All I know right now is that it should be a very strong tranny for a super. Whether it is a practical option or not is what I'm trying to find out about. Thanks much for the info you gave on it....I know more about it now than I did.

The Flux is based off the standard Savage. The motor mounts to the stock nitro mounts with a clamp around the motor body. You would, as said above, have to attach the motor to the transmission. The E-Revo, Summit, and E-Maxx trannys would be better options.

The Traxxas tranys are big and bulky and the motor sits high. Are you wanting multiple gears? The twin trany is pretty big too but it is very versitle and can be configured many ways. Plus it's bullet proof. The axial trany can be made bullet proof too and it is set up in a small package with the motor low. I have a Revo diff trany that is short but tall.
