Default Mad Force with gas engine

So i got my hands on 1 beatn up Mad Force with nitro engine (stock)
2 Twinforce 1 is stock and 1 have been upgraded with new shocks and Novak Engine and some other misc part

Nitro is little harsh to come by i live little far away from the RC shop.
battery is ok and fun but lasts to little and sounds like a drunken wasp.
i missed the engine sound and smell.
what i do have is loads of gas and a few chainsaws..

but im very unsure whats the easiest and is low bugdet way to make a clutch / idle gears / R N F

if some one have any links to within these forums that would be wickedly awesome i just need to learn the basic with gearing system in rc scale
any help would be great

Chainsaws have a clutch on them already so there isn't much sense in re-inventing the wheel there. Maybe fab up a shaft that will drive the trany some how. Hope you have a small chainsaw. A weedwacker may be a better choice.

I have some Twin Force axles too I was thinking of using a weed eater gas engine on. I was thinking to use a HPI Baja rear and trans, in the way Pede rears are used as trannies in crawlers.
