Default Supershafty BYB's - Setups and Show-Offs

Hey guys,

I had a thought a little while ago that since at least 5 of us have these that we should give out setups. Lets start with a nice simple format so we can easily compare.

(((just copy and paste this)))

Chassis WB size: 12.5" or 14.5"
Wheelbase:
Wheels/Tires:
Axle Width:
Motor/Esc:
Tranny:
Gears (Pinion/Spur):
Batteries:
Servo:
Shocks (oil/springs/pistons):

PICS AND VIDS SHOULD BE UPDATED AS YOU UPDATE YOUR BYB

that should be about it for setups.

also show us pics if you can of what your BYB looks like. I will start it off

Chassis WB size: 12.5" or 14.5"
Wheelbase: 17"
Wheels/Tires: white HPI Blast narrowed to 1.25" and 40 Trenchers narrowed to 2.5"
Axle Width: 10.5" at the hubs
Motor/Esc: 55t integy with VXR Tekin on the way
Tranny: Axial SCX10 with HR Case, BWD motor plate, and steel gears, CDW steel outputs
Gears (Spur/Pinion): 87/14
Batteries: 3 cell 3300 Tunigy on the way
Servo: MKS HV300 500oz at 12v 430 at 8.4v
Shocks (oil/springs/pistons): Stock TF shocks springs and pistons, needs more work though

some pics.

Buggy had that aluminum-framed one going but last I read he needed a new motor for it, which was about a month ago.

Mine's still a ways off. I'm about ready to buy a brushless setup but there's still a few other things to do like figure out how to mount a 4S battery (maybe I should have gone with dual 2S' on the sides like a stock TwinForce!)

I got side tracked with a couple other projects. I have everything I need, though. Should have a runner shortly.
