Default My Mad Force

She's not a crawler but wanted to send a couple pics out. It is still far from geing done but its my baby, had her since she first came out. She keeps my fleet of Losi LSTs company.
She hasn't been out in years, tires off and all packed into a rubbermaid for about 5 years+. I felt guilty and decided to get a new frame and rebuild, unfortunatelly no frames are available so decided to make one and decided to lower the motor. Let me know your thoughts. Specs below:

-Mad Force, 1st generation
-Mach .26 with Losi HT pipe
-a mix of stock bearing and ceremic bearing (slowly upgrading)
-Homemade frame
-Homemade 4 links with 4 link mounts
-Homemade steering links
-Homemade steering servo (behind the axle)
-Ofna monster pirate wheels, 17 mm
-Proline dual rate shocks.
-Imex Baja Claws
-Has the 4 gear mod in the diffs

That is he 1/8 scale body. The wheelbase on the truck has been pushed out about 2 1/2 inches so the 1/8 body is a must.

If memory serves me correctly, I'm running 50k in the diffs.

I do miss my go fast TF for sure. I do no that when you run a 4 link you will need to put in beefier hiem joints than Jato/Revo though. I found some huge ones (not available anymore) and ran 3/8" al rod for lower links.

Thanks Bart. I plan on switching out to revo ends with some 9mm ends from LOSI.

Haven't had much time to work on it since I've been quite busy. lookAnyway painted the bottom portion of the frame and the upper 4 link mounts. Also, made the rear sway bar. Alot more work to do. Some pics of the sway bar and steering servo mount.

If you look closely, you can see the steering servo mount.

I like the traxxas jato rod ends. I like the amount of thread bite you can get. I can get a pic if you need one tomorrow.
