All finished up First test run I stripped the front R&P, rear lockouts had play between axle shaft and stub and it became fwd. Replaced front gears and inserted a grommet into the stub axle to keep axle shaft in locker. Last edited by Gula; 04-14-2014 at 08:58 AM. |

neat rig man , ive got a similar body ive been working my way up to turning into a truggy in a similar fashion to yours. dont see many of them get finished though. good inspiration to get myself going. have you considered some bigger wheels and tires for it? how capable do you find it is crawling wise?

Bike is a 2010 KTM 990 SMR, trying to sell it actually. Wheels are 2.2's wrapped in rc4wd mudslingers. I can't go much bigger without serious rubi Last edited by Gula; 04-13-2014 at 08:47 PM.

Get on it and finish Reason I chose the running hardware is because they fit well, grip like a gecko and I've had those for 8 or so years now, so just trying to wear them out. Wasn't a surface they didn't make it up Last edited by Gula; 04-13-2014 at 08:24 PM.

Wheeled with my boy this morning Broke a weld on the front bumper so I'll have to strip it down a little to touch that up. I didn't like the color I painted the frame anyways. Next rig I'll wheel hard first before I paint the frame. Last edited by Gula; 04-14-2014 at 09:02 AM. |

Bigger tires (RC4WD rock stompers), fixed a bunch of broken welds, repainted frame black also weighed it and it came in at 14.4 lbs Last edited by Gula; 04-28-2014 at 07:45 AM. |
