Lightbulb My CXT biuld

well my buddie brought his 1/6 scale CXT over the other day. was inmpressed, shouldnt have been i cut the bottom plate for it. but he is using Tmaxx setup so to speak. Not me wanted it more "scale". so this it what i came up with so far......
Axles, TXT locked with Mayhem spyders Alumin beadlock and 2.2 RC4WD Rock Crushers

next i had to make the damn chassis, tryed alumin plate but looked like ass, so i went and got some 3/8 square stock, YEAH YEAH i know WAY over kill but hey i want it strong

well i got my body and was just tryin to figure out what i should do

okay off to the shop and make some "temp links" for it and see what i have now

goin to cut some bottom links out of 1/4" alumin plate today. so more pics to follow.......

well its comin together.... heres a look, hey guys tell me what you think

got some more work to do it get it as a roller, so more pics will follow...

Wow I'm lookin forward to watchin this build, always been a fan of TXT-1 axles, nice to see them being put to good use. Especially like the the two-tone paint on the body the black fenders and orange cab really pop, also I'm diggin the wheel tire combo, the tires fit beautifully under the wheel wells and are really true to scale. Any chance of clear windows and a detailed interior? Anyway looks fantastic so far, keep it up!

Those bottom links look great
Really nice job.
Frame is really nice!

Is it going to take a bit of lead/other to keep those feet planted with that high COG body?
Could go half droop, half sprung to lower the COG a little.

Watch'n this one

Sharp truck, wondering why you have the bed lower than the cab?

Maybe I missed it but those links are one piece split and bent, right? So you are using a 4 link with split ends to mount to the axle then? How is that working for flex?
