Wink My Untitled Project. Going BIIIIG

Hi everyone.

Last week i bought this thing right here:

Now i removed the axles and drew a suitable chassis for them.

Here are some pics of what i am going to do:
The frame: (the drawing below is the side-view)

Then two layout pics:

And look at those huge tires compared to 2.2's:

About the frame:
Length: 610mm (24inch)
Wheelbase: 510mm (20inch)
Total Width (with Tires): 430mm (17inch)

I already bought about 6m aluminum profiles, lots of bolts screws and washers and other goodies

What do you guys think?

Which body should i use?

Regards, DanteX

Are you gonna build this one a scale model? If so go with a unique body something not many people have. I know thats a hard one. I love seeing the 1/6+ scalers.

Thanks for the link.

But the problem is the shipping to Austria.
It costs too much.

I will start making the frame tomorrow.

I will keep you updated

Any luck on finding the manufacturer of your truck?

I think that truck is manufactured by Mtroniks or Hoboa but I'm not sure which. Its an off-brand TXT. Axles look cool though.

I am still not sure about the manufacturer of the car.

I found a sticker with "fp's racing team" on it but i couldn't find any further info about that.

The chassis is in the works. I almost finished it.
You will see some pics tomorrow.

Got a few things done, the frame, the axle mounts and the motor mount.
I will continue tomorrow with the servo mount and the shock towers.

AND sorry for the poor quality pic, i only had my cell phone with me.

Today I found a suitable servo: 25kg/cm pure power.

And a full view:

Comin along...

I'm sure you saw this, but I would make a plate with a 4 bolt pattern to screw onto the top of that tranny.
I just noticed you could make a Nasty 6 X 6 truck with no modification since those axles have spot for another pinion on the other side.

@Blood_Clod

I already did that, it is not on the pic.

And about the 6x6:
I asked for the manufacturer because of that reason
It would be awesome to built a 6x6 or even a 8x8 (woohooo)

Are those CVD's in the axles, or dog bone and drive cups? What are you going to do if an axle piece breaks?

Those are CVD's but with a set screw on them so you can remove and replace them.
