Default Squatch71's F250

Sooo, the wife was out in yard sales and picked me up a good looking rig..needs some styrene work but seems like a good project...my question is going to be how do you make windows?? are there clear pieces of styrene??? is the best way lexan sheets??? cut them then heat them up around a mold?? what the rig looks mocked up....

think this will be a fun project...course, arnt they all??

so, if you can get me some ideas on the windows??? would like them clear..maybe dark on the sides and rear...

right now its the body on just axles....have to remake the frame rails and such...for now it will be either a 35T integy or a 45T tekin...with a novak esc..but right after its all done I will most likely put a puller with a 3S in it. This is my scout that I tore apart...

will contact nick..thanks

You know what? Just when I think I got something different, I find out that everybody has everything.

I'm building a rig right now using that same body! Ironically, mine was molded in red and I painted it blue with some Krylon Fusion. I bought mine like 5 years ago at a Goodwill and have been waiting to build it up. I was wondering the same thing about making windows, I may just paint mine a dark smoke gray to look like tint. I'm gonna get around to filling those three holes on the right door someday. The roof holes I was gonna fill but I can't decide if I want to put the emergency lights back on or not. You might also want to look into strengthening the bed floor, mine cracked in 3 places.

Have fun with it, it's unique (x-cab and drop bed) and bigger than the Tamiya F-350 bodies.
