| Another 1/6 Willys
After watching some vids on youtube with this cars and read some build threads, I decided to build one. Managed to found a completely brand new car with driver and everything. One thing is for sure... I'll not run out of scale gas cans I must say that I was amazed with the detail of the car, but I was even more amazed with the detail of the uniform of the driver Now, on to the disassembling picts. The good part of this is than it only takes 1 philips screwdriver to do it Choped off some parts... some leftovers... and a quick mock up just to have an idea of the final result Just a bit of the tyre outside of the bodyshell... nice. This is what I have so far. It will sport axial axels, axial transmission and rd4wd tranfer box and as for the tyres they will be the Proline Interco TSL SX Super Swamper. More to follow. |

Small advance in this project. The transfer box has arrived... Had to open a slot to place the transfer box Almost no lubricant inside the box (RC4WD seems to be cutting costs down by not using enough lubricant) final result well tucked under the body |

Small update. Rear shock tower This shock tower isn't finnished yet because it makes the car sitting very high in the air as it is at the moment. Still have to make some adjustments for a better stance. Last edited by Octanas; 01-24-2011 at 04:57 PM. |
