Default 1:6 Scorpion - No Speeding here....

So this will be my first project after i get my MRC Pro off the table.
As the title says, it will be slow, and will probably be a little longer before i start anything further with it.

Plans are:
TXT axles
Summit Trans
Dual Maxx shocks on each corner
Hydro steering
Venom Ridgeline tires, custom cut to run 2.8 wheels and be 6" tall
Probably an EVX2 esc and a TRX775 motor on Lipo

Shes BIG

Plenty of room under the seat/floorpan for lipos. 6" long x 2.25" wide x 1" deep.

And room under the dash for esc/rx.

looks like crawler king axles (WK) would work a lot better then the TLT

Have you thought of using wheely king axles? They have the same diff as the axial so you swap parts and make it bomb proof?
Also just a suggestion, don't go for the biggest wheels, cuz IMO it looks funny, bigger tires are fine but wheels can only go so big till it looks like your trying to pimp your ride

Wheely king axles arent wide enough.
2.8 wheels scale out to 16.8" at 1:6 scale..... whats so huge about that ?

Didn't say they are huge. just saying don't go for the biggest lol like the 40 series, notice alot of people use those and it looks funny to me but 2.8 looks perfect then if it scales out to be like a 16" so that cool.
