Default RCP 5th Scale class1

Here are some pics of my custom build that I wanted to share, it also has a custom LD Racing light bar. The Chassis is made of 3/8 stainless tubing and only weighs 4.5 pounds and it is made upon a hpi baja platform

I almost forgot that there is RCP crawlers here as a sponsor, My company is called Race Car Prototypes (RCP) in San Diego I make full size Trophy truck and class1 Fiberglass bodies and I also make 5th scale TT bodies for the hpi baja's. I have been around for over 5 years and have seen RCP Crawlers at the last RC expo. That is the reason why it's called the RCP class1 , sorry I am not trying to take anyone's identity it's a coincidental acronym .

Here is some work of mine both in full scale and 5th scale and a 12th scale

all these trucks sport my logo

Who did the M&M's paint job?

TT, i would like to see more of the white 5T. (gotta have one )

Will HPI come out with a 1/5th 4WD and will it rip like a 2WD?

Thanks

No problem.... looks great....I did the CAD drawing for one awhile back,
but the investment needed to build this monster left little for profit.

The Painter is a friend of mine who lives in San Diego and goes by the name Riceman, he is in a few forums and does a great job at a reasonable price. I will post more of the white sand car as well which is the same body that I make that has been cut in many different styles.

I am doing the same as I have my Chassis in Solid works, we are planning to do it in plastic as I am teaming up with Team Chase who currently makes a plastic cage for the hpi Baja's. It does cost a lot and many get discouraged when they see the price of what it takes to do it. for the time being we are making it one by one out of Stainless tubing with many orders to fill when we decide on the price. I also have a SC cage similar to your design that will be out soon. we have been building full size chassis for many years including Jimcos like the class1 and were glad to do a cross over into the RC industry. We were impressed on the scale looking crawlers that you guys make and others in the forum and want to do the same with our off-road experience and background.
