yep i said "G" (Gas+oil=2cyc) Crawler, maybe basher you know it.

got some pics and more ideas




I would like to mount the tranny close like that but it will make it spin the wrong way.(dam one way barrings)
so it will probable mount in front like this


any one have any ideas

same issue I had with my gasser. Check my build thread and it may give you a few ideas on mounting stuff

Well I think I got the lay out figured out, for the engine and tranny at least
what you think?



fixed the spur gear hiding the front output shaft thing, useing #25 chain and sprokets as a jack shaft

Well after sleeping on it I think im going to make the frame a twin plate style out of aluminim plate
should be good and ridged

2 strokes will generally run backwards pretty well. If it's got a reed intake, it'll probably run exactly the same in either direction.

Just a thought... You'll need to re-do the starter scheme at least.

Sorry I have absolutely no experience with gas/nitro rc. How will this drive once done? Would it be geared for crawling speed or is it a matter of feathering the throttle?

well its been awhile but I have made some progress. Got the rear axle built and mounted , tranny is in, and i cuoldint help my self , so i started it and ran it (with the rear on only) its not that fast in first but lotts of power. Im going to need more brakes to handel this thing

well not to much new but the front housing, still need mounts (links shocks trackbar)
