Default Nylint 1:6 Scale Crawlers

yep... I own a pair

Anyone else ? !

I've had these awhile...
Used maybe once of twice lightly... then stored.

Yeah they work still...
even have the upgraded out drives.
Lightly used...
tho' one Jeep body is near new and was never mounted/used.

I kept them because... well they still function/operate.
But mostly cuz' I had visions of using these bodies one day.

Never got around to that... sooo...

Anyone interested in trying there hand ?

These bodies would make for great large scale RC's IMO

A Honcho SCX10 is displayed so as to offer some perspective.

I own 2 1/6 nylints and a 1/18 nylint.
One of the 1/6 scales is my main rig, ive stretched the wheelbase and put a Ford Raptor body on it.
The other is torn apart to use as spare parts.
Ive been hoping to find another chassis for cheap to put my modded jeep body on

I charged up both chassis batteries last night...
then today... took them out for a test run.
Both chassis, 2 speed and electronics are still working as new.
And these are in real good shape considering the years that I've owned them.

meh... think I only drove them maybe twice since we bought them.
Thought the 2 speed on the fly thing was kinda cool...
but didn't really like much about the chassis otherwise.

But I do like the bodies... look good and purdy dang tuff.

I have thought about fabricating a frame to fit these...
But I'm not sure what axles could be used to replace the stock stuff.
Maybe some Wraith axles might work... but I dunno.

If I ever get around to figuring that out...
I'd probably have interest in keeping at least one body for that build.
But otherwise... they sit here collecting dust and dander

Now I just have to wonder if my 180 mig welder
could be turned down low enough to weld a chassis/frame together ?
Tho' I would guess I'd just burn holes
Doubt I want to invest in a TIG welder just for these.

I'm not sure what you might consider "cheap"
but I'd let these chassis go for a fair price.
Tho' shipping these heavy weight monsters couldn't be cheap.
Mostly due to the weight of the batteries I'd suppose.
Dump those... and it would cost less I'm sure.

I thought about posting them up on ebay...
see if anyone wants them.
But I've been lazy to do that.

If you have any serious interest in obtaining these chassis from me...
just let me know.

Im pretty interested in getting atleast a full chassis with a remote (ive currently only got one remote,) though itd depend on price.
I believe ive seen 1/6 crawlers with the bodies on and battery have their shipping price listed as ~$15 on ebay, which isnt too bad. I think the overall size adds more than the weight really.
But it depends how its shipped.
What would you consider letting a chassis go for, with a battery and a remote? Also, how about a chassis with just a remote and not the battery?
I do have two batteries, though i havent checked to see if my other one still works. Ill put it on the charger today and see if it does

I have one of the orange Jeeps.

It's still gathering dust in my shop, because it's going to take a custom axle setup to make it work. Or a pair of Rock Force axles, which ain't easy to find these days.

Wraith axles are not going to be wide enough.
