Default 1/6 Ford Raptor Ultimate Adventure

I'm using this body.

To build this.

Yes I know that the 1:1 is not a Raptor but thats the only body big enough.

Frame bent from 1/2" square tuning.

I was going to build it using Wraith axles front and rear.

But the VP at Axial asked me to use the front section of the new EXO Terra buggy and here it is.

I even got the boatsides done.

The body is in El Paso Texas getting the paint done. using the color codes from the Ford GT40.

This thing is awesome. How much would you say you have invested in this project so far? I really would like to make one like this.

Thanks guys I love this truck.

What I have spent on this truck? Wow I don't realy want to think about that. You could probably buy a couple rigs built the way you want. Oh man I just realy don't know. Lets just say a lot.

Any pics of how you mounted the front IFS to the chassis and the link work in the rear?

It looks sick!

Rear links are very long. MIP has given me a factory driveshaft instead of my custom MIP.

The EXO parts of the chassis is bolted to the Dinky mount with four screws.

Here is the mount for thr front part of the EXO ifs. Bots the EXO shock tower to the frame. Also telocates the shocks for a better setup.

Dual pro line shocks up front. I need scx10 springs if anyone has any they want to send me. Stock pro line springs are way to soft.

Best start on a raptor body I've seen. The ifs and all the mods look killer. Can't wait to follow this one!

My Dad did and brought the signs to me. He says some drunk ran over a few signs by his house. Those thick dead end signs work great for skid plates lol

very cool build. How close is the track width between the front and rear? I'm guessing that both diffs have the same gearing since they all use the same (basic) R&P?
