I hear ya! My Jerp is the only RC vehicle that I have any enjoyment with. It's an awesome trail ride rig.

Got some more done and working on another video. This build is pretty much wrapped up other then a few odds and ends. Trying these wheels and tires out and they do better then my pit bulls xls on my rocks. Thanks guys!

great build man.I'm looking to do a build on the G.I. and needs some inspiration...I don't know if you post but what is the purpose for the hood hinge ,why not stock hood hinge,,...
And how you mount your shocks straight through the plastic...

Some hoods on the gi joe jeeps don’t open. The earlier years don’t open and hard to find that does but if it does then you can use the stock ones and I just drilled through the plastic and used m3 washers to help spread the load over the plastic from the shock

The Hasbro 7000 style Jeeps from the 60 - 70's have an opening hood, here's mine: New Project (for me)
