A08 Our AO8™ wheels are our most scale wheel yet! AO8™ (8 Lug) These wheels feature a tighter 8 lug pattern for more "face". This means more detail and a better look on each design: Since the flanges are detachable ... you now get the option to play with track width: We even designed new M2 "Mag" Acorns to drop a scale bomb on everyone! Every AO8™ wheel is also Easy Mountฎ compatible so your foam and tire changes are a snap! Stay tuned for new designs and color options soon ... and thanks for reading. How much per set, and what measurements do you use on the detachable hubs? __________________________ 1.9 Ibex tuber - The Merica ibex. R.I.P Dave Mirra

AO8 (8 Lug) And they work with our easy mount rings: LURC Compatible We will have a complete packager deal up (like we do for the 8L & SLW styles) soon as well. For the hub measurements, offset. backspace, etc, you can get a wealth of information here (AO8 near the bottom of post #1): Offset & Backspace Tutorial | |

Re: A08 SLW and AO8 use different numbering systems. So adding an SLW number to our AO8 system would be confusing for everyone. Having said that... An AO8 with a 285 axle flange will offer the same track width as one of our SLW compatible wheels with a .185 hub:

Re: A08 Nothing planned right now. Because of the scale of the bolt pattern on our SLW and our 8L wheels, they actually look better with the larger acorns. Adding a smaller acorn makes them look very spaced out .... like toothpicks on the wheel. I'd take a picture of an SLW style wheel with mag acorns to show you but they slip through the 4-40 holes. So you can imagine how wide the base on the acorn would have to be to hold it on ... which would be a weak point as well. On the 8L they are passable, but the standard acorns still look better on there.

Makes sense. Didn't realize they were that much smaller.

Re: A08 We have been working on the A08™ since before we unleashed the Ultra Hubs, which is why they are a perfect fit for them. I've had the finished Mag acorns sitting here since October ... of 2014. For the smaller wheels we are still finalizing a few things but I think they will be a really nice offering. The catch right now is that we are still out of a lot of our standard things due to the usual seasonal rush. So they are still a ways off because we can't even get to them! Once I have a finalized prototype though ... then I'll really tease! Last edited by Locked Up; 03-17-2016 at 07:54 PM.
