Change that thread title! "Must Do's, not Must Does!"

Drop the suspension down! Cut the springs or run droop.
Move the battery to on top of the servo.
Trim the body to fit as low as it can on the chassis.
Start there and have fun!

I left the foams in and was able to get 20 BBs in easily. After running it that way today, I'd say it's a must do.

This is what I did to mine
put a lipo on the rear axle
flipped the tranny
flipped the esc and esc mounts around
run droop shocks

The body is sooo light I don't think it will matter much.

the body will make a difference, light or not. drop it low, and make her slow.

do the bbs roll around or get bunched up in one spot? i would worry about them all getting stuck at the top of the tire and hurting things.

anyone pulled the foams and found them to run ok?

So far I have only stuck a wheel weight next to the nut with some tape, just for performance, looks arent good just yet until i figure out what ima do with the tires.... afraid to glue them and remove as they are so small to begin with, dont want to hurt the looks of the thing.

Pull the tires off and wrap solder around the wheel, works alot better than the BBs.

Move the battery to the rear axle
flip the Trans/ESC

Not a must, but:
Soft White Micro-T springs
2S LiPo

So far I removed the foams (I didnt have any bb's... nephew used them all ) mounted the esc on the servo and the battery on the rear mount. Seemed to help alot.
When dropping the body, I assume you need to trim off the body that hangs low? Or does it still clear? I cant wait until they make aftermarket bodies for these. I hate the stock ones.

My buddy just got the Losi 180mah 2c and is getting 20 minute run times! I forgot to ask how long it took to charge though. I heard it over the phone and it sounded like a electric chain saw..lol.

When you guys are talking about flipping the Tranny, would swapping the axles create the same effect?

Yeah, way more work. Flip it by removing 2 screws on each side of the chassis plate. The hardest part was getting the drivelines to allign back up.

Just thinking. Someone should put a small spring between the two drive lines. Front and rear. What would happen?

What exactly does flipping the Tranny accomplish? Just wondering, since you all are talking about it.
