Default 2 CELL LIPO? Are there any problems?

Just saw a few guys are running small 2 cell lipo's and wondered how the rigs are holding up? Is the extra power ok to run through the stock ESC?

Other than the battery being a little bigger in size & weight, is the power increased too much to where it might bring the crawler to a breaking point?

nope, no breakage or issues. the stock esc is designed to run a 2 cell lipo with ease. Some on this site are even thinking it has a lipo cutoff, I dont know for sure about that, but I am running one and the extra power is nice!

I have 27 runs through on the 180 mah 2 cell losi lipo with no issues.

My rig has 29g front wheels and 26g rears as well adding additional strain. The motor gets a bit hot, but only for my liking. 130F after a 10 minute hard crawl session. well witihin spec, but hotter than I would like.

i would love to see a motor upgrade with more torque.
