Got my Micro Losi appart and now trying to get all the mechanics fitted into the Revell CJ-7 kit. Here are the first pictures from the progress (if I can figure out to how get them uploaded). Updates will follow. It will NOT look like this in the end ![]() First some body mods ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Then to the chassisframe. Some styrene added for mounting the skidplate/motormount ![]() ![]() ![]() ... had to cut some of the gastank away to make room for that chunky worm gear :-( Lower links attached to testfit body and check wheelbase (also added some fender flares) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Next: Fitting the servo under the bonnet, finishing the mount of the upper links and then on to the shock-mount. I'll post more pics soon. Last edited by KeddeX; 12-15-2009 at 03:50 AM. |

Grrrr .... Had to give up on the Jeep (couldn't get the steering sorted out). BUT ... I've got my hands on an old Revell Chevy pickup which I'm right now cutting into pieces, so that it can be narrowed in the front and maby doved in the back. Pics will arrive here soon. |
