| Arrrgh ! I thought i lucked out
well to my surprise my tranny is getting worst (it didnt bind much at all when i 1st got it). i dont know how thats possible but it is(or the battery is getting weaker and i notice the bind more ?? ). so i took it apart and rotated the bottom gear on the square to find the spot with the least amount of binding then found the spot where the gears were tight and sanded ever so slightly then cleaned up with a xacto. i never could get it out. it still binds. i think a call to horizon will be in the plans but i dont see how a new gear will fix the problem. idk. lol

sending out free sets of gears and t-cases and its not Losi, its Horizon. i place the blame with the massive coorporation shitting them out. I dont think the wobble gears were part of Losi's original design. just the result of Horizon's mass production of the lil things. Last edited by BEELZEBOB; 12-22-2009 at 09:05 AM. |

heh. I wont email them unless it starts giving him problems. I've been driving it and it binds a little bit but only at startup. I think working on it has to be the most frustrating part with my fatty fingers.

imagine what would happen if your $30 target toy breaks, you're SOL and its in the trash. Our micro crawlers have like part support and customer service based out of the U.S.A IMHO, its not how you fawk up, its how you fix it that matters. Last edited by BEELZEBOB; 12-22-2009 at 10:20 AM. Actually, that did happen to me with a target product, the radline. I purchased my radline there, but a little more then your $30. I had a rear end problem Radline sent out a new rear dif. with bearings, no charge. I have no doubt that losi wants to make good, this is a great rc, first in a new scale and all.
