Default Whats up with the lack of a bind plug

The micro doesn't come with a bind plug to go into a regular receiver . Epic fail losi ! So now i cant use that transmitter on my MRC , or any other digital receiver i have . total BS . I have 2 micros and a mrc and i was gonna buy the 1/18 buggy but not if it doesn't come with a bind plug im not. any added info on why losi did this would be helpful. i know the esc/reciever doesnt need it because it has the button to bind , but to make the transmitter useless in anything without a bind button is an outrage as far as im concerned. should have came with a bind plug for receivers that require one .

You can bind the radio to any Spektrum receiver that is ground based, all you have to is turn it on when the receiver is in bind mode.....

The radio will bind to any!! Only receivers which require a bind plug will you need use one. They are really easy to make if you don't have one....

Why should they have to include a bind plug in a model they sell that does not require one?

they should include it because it doesn't cost them anything to make and is helpful if you want to use it with a losi receiver that requires a plug . the cheap fools horizon don't think about that kind of thing and it shows . i would have just got the bnd version but i thought i was getting a extra transmitter to use on anything that is specktrum. mainly my mrc

Dude. It'll work.
Your Losi Mini's Rx (receiver) came with a bind plug because it needs it. It's the Rx that needs it, not the transmitter...so the Micro didn't come with one. Why? It doesn't need it. It has the bind button. Other Rx's that need a plug should come with one (just like the Mini), if they don't, then there's something to complain about.

If you don't have the bind plug that came with your Mini, make one! There's no reason Losi needs to supply a bind plug for a Tx/Rx Combo that doesn't need it, when Rx's that do need them, come with them.

Yeah, I used my MLST2's(long gone truck tho) transmitter all you need to do is hold down the bind button on the RX while turning it on to go into bind mode then do your typical stuff on the transmitter. Worked fine for me then I switched to a DX2.0

ok thanks for all the input ,but im talking about using the transmitter that comes with the micro and no bind plug on my mrc that needs a bind plug . now i have my original bind plug that comes with my mrc but that will only bind the transmitter that came with my mrc for some reason .it doesnt bind the transmitter that came with my micro to the mrc receiver. i tryed like 50 times. also problems with transmitter not staying bound to the micro . unless you change the batterys in the trans and then it works for about 3 battery runs and time for new batterys inthe transmitter and if i take them out they still work good in my mrc . so the batterys in the transmitter have to be at full charge to work on the micro ... disapointing ....

Hmm thats very odd I have yet to have any problems with mine. Took a few tries to get it bound to the DX2.0 but eventually got that, but with either the MRX3000 transmitter or the DX2.0 I haven't had any of those problems

Default got it figured out

the brand new batteries in the micro transmitter were the problem . i said well it cant be the batteries in the transmitter again ,or could it ... so i tried new batteries , put the bind plug in the mrc and presto mint. thanks all . there is a post on here about the micro's not staying bound due to the transmitter batteries so im not alone .sorry for the confusion but i hardly ever have to change the batteries in the mrc radio so thats what threw in the monkey wrench into my diagnosis.thanks again .

You sir are an idiot...

I have the band version micro, and the transmitter for my mrc worked fine...

Took me all of 1 try after reading the instreuctions to get it right. As for the batts not lasting as long... ding ding ding... we have a moron, its the exact same transmitter for both vehicles, so battery life is... you guessed it... the same.

You need to stop throwing away your money on dollar store batts and get some decent ones in there and that should solve your problem.

Hey ma look, no bind plug needed

I always read the instructions, then I file that booklet away for reference....I have every manual and instruction sheet for everything I have ever bought new....and PDF files for everything I have bought used.....but alas....99.9% of the guys never take the instructions out of the box before it hits the trash can.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him read the instructions
