Default Grave Digger Hot Wheels RC

Not quite brave enough to tear apart my micro to fit to my Mad Max project quite yet so I was in search of my next body. I found a Hot Wheels Grave Digger Monster Jam RC on clearance at Wal-Mart for $8.

This one is plastic. Had to Dremel some of the mounting bosses. Got a little over zealous near the front left fender. Going back tomorrow to buy another one (hope they still have em).

It's a perfect scale fit. The wheel wells center over the Micro's wheels and the body is narrow enough to use the stock body posts. I might mount the next one a tad lower, just want to make sure I leave enough clearance. I also have the green side pipes to glue on below the doors.

Hope you like it

I came across one of those at walmart fot $8 as well
but this one was metal :( i figured i would use it to make a mold for a lexan body but see thats already done
I would lengthen the links just a tiny bit, should perform better as well
looks great!

Yeah. I've got the Max Destruction in metal that I've lightened quite a bit but need to lengthen the micro to look right. The Plastic RC Grave Digger fits almost perfect. These are hard to find as I'm not sure if HW is making them anymore. I found a version that looks like white dog of all things at a grocery store of all places. I picked up two more of the Diggers to tinker with and paint. One for the BWD chasis when available.
