The micro scaler bug has bitten me hard, so hard in fact i keep browsing ebay for model kits and came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Maybe a little more than i need but what the hell, Who can say crew cab dually truggy!

Isn't the plastic on model kits like these a little brittle? I guess it's not as much of a problem for micro crawlers since they are pretty light. But, is durability much of an issue? Nice job on winning the auction!

i havnt had a problem yet, ive got a jeep commando and a jeep cj that i use every day and they havnt broken yet. they take more flops than my hi lift hilux takes and havnt broken yet, well other than mirrors any way.


as you can see they still look great. these bodys hold up real well. I think i may fab up some brass frames and sell them with the bodies. god only knows that i dont need a dozen of these bodies but for less than $50 i couldnt resist.

im trying to make a dually tuggy also I think maybe once a few more people get them built we should a tug a truck comp? but nice buy man

Yep, there are a ton of ideas on the bay. I just won my 90's Explorer so I will have to see if it will work(metal body(I want to make it like my 1.1)

Yeah thats a steal.. keep them tucked away ujntil you're building bro.. You just have to know how to stash stuff..
Pocket Rockets the models are made of styrene and thats pretty durable stuff.. check out all the stuff scalers are crawlers are using it for..

I feel ya, I got stuff everywhere! And I've still got one more heli (til later today it'll be two) on the way, a plane that just arrived to go along with everything else. Time to start building shelves and hanging planes and choppers from the ceiling.
