| 1/24 or 1/25 size is the best fit for scaling Losi MRC?
Guys, I wish to make a scale looking on my Losi MRC. I think two sizes are available in the market & u r even using so. I need to know these: What is the best scale body size, most compatible for Losi MRC? Which is model 4runner or Landcruiser is better as there is some cutting issues on the wheel base. Pl help me. I'd go with the 1/24 cause thats the scale of the rig itself, but if you look hard enough, there may be some 1/20's out there, people also go use the bodies from other rc trucks, like ones from Wal-Mart. i personally used a 1/24 Revell Jeep cj-7 Renegade, the body for the most part is proportional, but it looks better with the droop setup.

| 1/25 and 1/25 are close enough that it doesn't matter It depends more on the manufacturer some sell 1/24 others 1/25 |

| Agreed with that last statement. Some of the 1/25 ones are the same size as the 1/24 ones and some of the 1/24 ones are very large. The Silverado on my McRC measures just over 9" long and it is 1/24 so sometimes scale doesn't always correspond to how you want it to ;)

| exactly, although i did mean 1/24 and 1/25 not both 1/25 lol I also sometimes forget that its 1/24th of the actual vehicle so as you said a 1/24 dodge ram or large truck will be much larger than say a 1/24th CJ or suzuki |

What matters most is the width of the actual truck. example: Hummer H3 has 85 inch width 85/20=4.25 inches 20 means 1/20 scale That means the model needs to be 4.25 inches wide for a 1/20 3.55 inches for 1/24 Replace the 85 with the width of the truck you want and start the search for your dream body. Good luck |

Ok guys, It's very hard to guess which one is how much big or what because it's true one company makes one model big other makes small etc. I think Aoshima one is the best choice as lots of guys from this forum have used this. These models looks good too. I saw Revell one today, but it's bigger and steal made. So Aoshima is the best maybe. |
