| Pics Of Hot-Racing Alum. parts ON Truck
Not real happy with these parts.. on the front I had to remove the inside wheel rings on the front.. it catches on the new alum. knuckles.. the rear is nice, but 1 wheel tightens fine the other is not so tight. even had to get little lock nuts from a micro t axle conversion. plastic ones suck.. so in my opinion...dont buy. crawler went best stock with droop set up.. so now it looks cool, but does not go as well. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2621.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2622.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2623.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2624.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2625.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2626.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2627.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2628.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2629.jpg http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/x...z/IMG_2630.jpg |

| I forgot to order my front knuckles but they seem to fit for the few others i have seen with them. I like the wheels C;s and rear lockouts though |

where did you check? I see they are on Ebay now and hot racing lists 2 places that sell them. I think a few vendors on this forum carry them as well. Try doing a search limited to the McRC area and it should come up | |

I ordered the HR beadlock wheels, front C's, lockouts, and shocks. The only quality control issue I had was one of the rear wheels required a very thin washer/shim to prevent the hex collar from rubbing the lockout. it appears the hex collar is just a tad too deep on that one wheel. I probably will take the dremel to it and knock the hex collar down a tad to prevent from using the shim. The shocks could use a lighter spring but, fit and look great. Truthfully I am bit bummed that the stock ugly plastic upper arms block the view of the awesome looking shocks. The beadlocks went together great and add much needed weight to the tires. I bought some matching red 2mm flanged nyloc nuts to attach the wheels, plastic losi nuts stripped after the third removal/reinstall. All and all well, I figure it is a bit of pimp and chrome but, the added weight does help and the increased clearance from the lockuts are worth the money. | I guess Im lucky i didnt have any fitment issues. the beadlocks even seal tight enough that i dont run foams at all up front. I just bleed out as much air as i can without making wrinkles or flat spots and it stays sealed there. the tire flexes better than unsealed with foams. That is with no weight from a body battey or ESC/reciever so i expect it would be even better once everything is together I still need to order the front knuckles and hope they fit between the C's and wheels also run the shocks with no springs Found some silver aluminum locknuts and they seem to make the wheels pop better than the black stock nuts. makes it look a bit more scale under a hardbody Last edited by spoo76; 02-16-2010 at 09:00 PM. |

Anyone have a link to the beadlocks? All I can find is the rings. But found an eBay store that has some upgrades by HR, even their "air shocks" but we all know its just an internal spring. http://stores.ebay.com/Everything-Ra...&submit=Search |
