| Courses!!!!
so i have 4 2' by 4' sheets of wood, im making a rock crawling course, i no some of you have done courses as such but i no some havnt. i need ideas. and lots of them ,i was rhinking like a trail for a sclae rig but i dunno. help? ideas, anything works |

now i dont have one of the rigs (but i do want one) but i know we have a train set with mountains. this was done with chicken wire, foam, and paper mache. this was easy to do but i think you can also use some kind of foam that hardens.... see if this helps.http://axialracing.com/ftp/rockcourse/ maybe this on a small scale?

There are a few threads on here with multiple builds with tons of pics too....a little digging and you'll find them. Keep us posted with pics when you get it done for sure.

Blue colored styrofoam wall insulation comes in 4' by 8' sheets in various thickness (like 1 or 2 inch) at Home Depot, OSH, etc. One of the more expensive brands is Homosote. This would be lighter cheaper than indoor hollow wooden doors from Lowes. Idea being glue down a layout and then stand up the sheet against wall for storage, like maybe in the garage? |
