Default Another ESC issue

Here's another ESC issue. One of our McRC had an ESC that went out. Couldn't bind, it just didn't do anything. Losi replaced it and my son installed it yesterday. Got it bound and ran it once. He recharged the battery and plugged it in, now the motor just spins at full speed, no steering, etc. We have tried to rebind it but as soon as the green lite stops flashing, the wheels just start spinning. Anyone had this issue?

Default me too

ya, I had the same problem with mine. my first ESC would not stay bound, the replacement would just spin the motor at full throttle. I think it may have been the transmitter but I got sick of it and put a Novak ESC and Futaba radio set. I saw a thread on here about how to fix something with the Tx. I don't recall though. I'll try to find it.

I had the same problem with mine. I just turn it off and unplug the battery and turn off the TX then I plug battery back in, turn on TX and then turn on RX and its fine. Seems to happen only after charging the battery.

is yours the RTR or BND version? If it is the RTR and you are using the batteries supplied in the kit in your transmitter, replace them, this is what fixed mine and several others. Not a problem since.

Thanks guys. We'll try this stuff out tomorrow. Mine is the BND while my son's is the RTR. I just asked him about the batteries in the transmitter and he said they were the stockers that came with truck. They've had alot of run time so we will try those first. I'll let you know what happens.

Thanks again!
