rock crushers aren't really thicker but it has much more side tread than the stock losi tires. so it looks thicker and should have more side bite. its also more squared off than the losi

same with the rok lox and they both fit great

I've got the rock crushers also and I believe that they are a touch taller as well. As spoo posted more squared on the face also.

How do the RC4WD compare to the stock Claws? Dogbreath says in his review they are good and do not feather like the Losi's, but how well do they grip/flex/sidehill in comparison?

I'll likely order up a set of Rok Lox, but would like some opinions too.

Cheers, Phil.

I personally think they grip very well although I don't believe they flex around as much as the claws. The lug strength though IMO makes up for that although my truck is quite light so that might be the reason for less flex.

I e-mailed pro-line about making micro tires. They e-mailed me back and said them would send my e-mail to R&D and see what they can do. I say we all contact pro-line and so on for them to make tires.

E-mail hot bodies and they may do it. Everyone that reads this e-mail the manufacture that makes your favorite tire for your other rig and bother them about making micro tires. They may listen.

jeepkid i know youre used to dealing with companies that give a shit like losi and axial but i think alot of the big names just really dont care right now and when it blows up and their late in the game then theyll be too late because some of these smaller vendors are coming out with such good products at such good prices therell be no place for overpriced stuff

They have been out a year or so and they need to step up. The mini was out for like 3 months and they had all kinds of stuff out for it.

when the mini came out more people had jobs and could afford hobbies. there was also a somewhat existing market for 1/18 crawlers

the losi micro is still new enough and the demand is much less and at a much worse time

also with such a small scale i really doubt scale tires would make more difference over whats already available, it would be mostly cosmetic

I bet some comp style maybe pin tread tires would sell better.

Personally id rather see another micro crawler with the same axle width and nearly the same tire size get popular
more choice brings more attention to this scale which hopefully means more aftermarket

I want to see more scale chassis, bodies and shocks built around the 1/20 scale before more tires.

Its been a slow start with aftermarket but i think it will get there.

The scale stuff is easy go get a 1:20 scale model and go to town. We keep talking about it cuz the manufactures are watching us talk about it and then go from there.

Got my Rock Crushers and their mounted on BWD Vertex wheels. What a combo, their definatly taller, wider and stickier.I left the foams out and it seems mounted in a real beadlock they hold air.My buddie got the Rock Lox,they seem to be better in the snow.
