| Battery ?'s
I have tried numerous times to charge the NiMH batter in my micro crawler and it will not take a full charge. The light goes off on the portable charger after two to three minutes of charge and the battery is still dead. Can i charge it with my standard charger at a low rate of 0.5 amps? Will this hurt the cells? Also i have a lipo for the micro t/b/dt that i want to use in the micro crawler, but it hasn't been charged in about a year. The case feels hard but is kind of puffed in the center, but it looks like it is only the shrink wrap and not the cells themselves. Is this normal for the losi lipo pack or should i throw it out?

| From what Ive always read puffy lipos are bad. I had a lipo get puffy in the middle, doubtful its just the shrink wrap replacing a lipo is better/safer/cheaper than having someone or something catch on fire. look for "lipo fire" videos and youll see for yourself |

Unfortunately the batteries in the charger are fresh, thats the first thing i've learned to try with the portable. It still charges the other pack, but won't charge the old pack more than two minutes. I will recycle the lipo, no need to burn down the workshop because i a too cheap to replace a $20 battery! i am afraid of hooking the micro NiMH pack to my "full size" charger even though it is just .5amps, but then again if it doesn't work, i'm not out anything.

I know on some of the 2 and 3s lipo's for the bigger cars they are puffed in the middle a little bit to add for like a safety thing kinda protect the cells a little on a smaller lipo I really don't know... BUT my question for you guys is what kind of lipo should I buy? I just got my Micro the other day and starting the mods ;)
