| micro issues
so about year ago i bought a used micro was missing rear shocks and rear drive shaft was broken. Over last year picked up new shocks and drive shafts. First issue is i cant seem to get shocks on mounts? any easy way with out snapping ball piece off? also i looked at rear drive shaft and seems to be way way to short. Some chance someone stretched the rear? Any help please. Trying to get the rc bug back and this isnt a good start. thanks if cant fix soon be parting out in a near date

Sit the ball in the shock cup, then put them both in a pair of pliers and pop them together. As for the drive shaft or having longer links, not sure without seeing pics of the links that are currently on the truck. |

First look at the shock cup. One side is smooth and the other side is beveled on the inside. You want to snap the ball stud into the beveled side. I use needle nose pliers as pictured. I lightly hold the threaded end with the tip of the needle nose pliers touching the flanged ring. I then place just the shock cup on a piece of wood and apply downward pressure. It should just snap in. As far as your drive shafts. A stock shaft length should look like this. A modified shaft would require an extension to the female end like this. Hope this helps. These little crawlers are a blast. |

The extension comes from a bic pen.
