| stock tires compared to after market
Hey all, first post here. Got a micro a few weeks ago, and i love it. The only thing i'm not liking is the tire size. after stretching my buggy some, it high centers way too much for my liking. Now i'm aware of the aftermarket options for tires, and that theres no larger comp looking tire available yet. But i was wanting to see if some one had any pictures of the stock micro tires next to the aftermarket ones. I've read on here that people say some are slightly bigger, but i'd like a good visual if possible, that way I can get and idea if its worth the money right now for what i'm looking to accomplish. Thanks in advance |

all the tires, both stock and after market are virtually the same size....the difference between them are minimal. At this point we are only buying after market tires for the scale tread and slight traction gain....not for any size difference.

The only thing u can do is go custom. I made a set of Mini QLO (RCTRAX)tires fit on the stock Losi Micro rims. The only problem is that the are a little too big for the rig and rub on the links pretty bad. I made a set of custom off-set rims and they work great. It does however make the size of the rig quite a bit bigger. Just food for thought |

that sounds like a thought, any pics? and could you elaborate on what you did to make the rims? after looking at the pics of the Qlo those tires seem pretty close tp what i'm looking for. anymore info would be great

I'd like a look at those as well, I've been thinking about making a set of micro Haters.

I think the miniqlo's would be a good limit in tire size for a micro comp division.
