Default Styrene Chassied Comp Style Micro

I'm tired of my micro scalers so I decided to go comp style. I looked at the different chassis available and made my own out of 1/16 thick styrene. I know some will say it is not strong enough but I have built 3 scale micro chassis and have yet to break on crawling.

When the clear coat dries I'll get it back together and see how it does. Let's see who recognizes the camo pattern first.

Looks great. Let us know how it goes and what setup you have (wheel weights, link lengths, shock positions, etc.)

Cheers, Phil.

Mods/Set-Up:
The wheels are weighted with solder wrapped inside the tire.
Foams are star cut.

Transmission has been flipped with the motor forward.

Shocks are upside down with 6 coils cut off the spring.
Front shocks mounted inward and slightly layed down more than what stock would be.
Rear shocks are mounted inside the chassis plates intead of outside and just a little more layed down than stock.

Rear links and drive shaft are extended but I don't remember by how much.
Front links and drive shaft are stock.

ESC/RX out of case and in shrink wrap.

Servo is a Hitec 55mg

I also made some styrene wideners for a little extra width.

Here is how it looks all finished up. I made one more mod putting it together. I took the spur gear cover off to save a little weight.
