Default Have the tranny issues been fixed?

Hi everyone. I had a micro crawler back when they first came out. There were some issues with the tranny gears binding and not turning smoothly. Have those issues been corrected or does it still plague this little machine? I am thinking about buying another one and was just curious if it was something I would still have to deal with.

I don't know if the new one's still experience the binding??

If you do have binding, the Alum. Main Center Gear Case from Hot racing will fix the issue.

I've purchased 2 in the last 4 months and no binding issues. If you have to go the route of the aluminum trans case an added bonus to this is a good heat sink built in when you do the trans in aluminum.

I thought both of mine were fine but as soon as I took the trans out and spun it by hand I definitly noticed the binding ,warped gears ect. didnt take too long or too much effort to get it smooth ,still not perfect but it dosent seem to effect it on the rocks, I did order a HR alum. trans case today along w/ alum. beadlocks ,roc lox and crushers from RC4wd too.

Not real impressed with some of the HR stuff for the MCRC, but have to say that the aluminum gears and tranny case are a GREAT addition.
