Is anyone using a rx/esc other than stock?
I haven't been able to find any options.

ahh, I just found that you can put in a Xcelorin brushless esc/motor and a spectrum micro race rx.
That seems pretty expensive though.

Is there room in there for this mod?

The brushless systems are too fast for a crawler

why do you need something other than stock?

I just bought the micro Blade TMC from KRAWLR4life. It would have been nice to save a few bucks and buy it artr. But, after looking up the cost for a losi micro esc/rx (or other combo) plus the included lipo, it didn't make sense.

I didn't want another project sitting on my shelf... currently building a scx 10 and trying to find time to start a PTI Goliath MMT and... I fried the frets on my mini-z monster.

I'm really looking forward to this little crawlen rock buggy!
I've been looking for a mico since they released this chassis.

btw, I love your videos of it.

The stock ESC/Rec combo is still the cheapest way to go and is an excellent system for the size and it is 2.4G....the other option is the Losi Mini-DT esc/rec....about the same size but in 27 AM

i need a good esc because im going 3 channel for dig so im also curious not sure if im gonna stay brushed or go brushless though so any esc options would help
