Default Aluminum skid plate

Does anyone have this?
Does it weigh anymore than the stock?

I feel like I need more belly weight...
I'm going to order the Vertex's so maybe they'll take care of it.

I don't see any advantage to the skid plate myself but the aluminum tranny case is a must for a smooth running rig.

Have them on both of mine, I like the looks of them but It does not add the weight your looking for.

why exactly are you trying to add sprung weight? all that does is raise your cog but it does look like a nice piece mines startin th strip out a bit from taking the ball studs out so many times

I've read about that but I don't seem to have any binding... that I know of.
Actually, how would I know if it was binding?
I was going to buy it before I had the rig but now that I have it, it seems that it would add more weight up high.

Murderface, I'm not specifically trying to add sprung weight, just looking for options.

I should probably wait a couple weeks till I have the Vertex's before I make any other changes.
