Default Micro Eclipse

I built a micro crawler using the Micro Eclipse Chassis from Ripper7Racing. The Chassis is awesome. It uses the stock skidplate and upper links. The geometry seems spot on. The chassis is very stable and has plenty of articulation. Along with the new Chassis I added a set of RC4WD Rocklox tires. I made bent lower links out of MLST pushrods. These work very well. They use 3m threaded rod and the ballcups work smoothly. I had to lengthen the drive shafts, this chassis will lenghten the wheelbase quite a bit. Right now I'm using solder in the tires for weight, but there's a BWD wheel weight kit on it the way. Here's a few pics:

I narrowed the back of the chassis. The upper links were hitting it and limiting articulation. It's much better now.

Here are the bent links:

And here's just a cool pic from crawling on my buddy's car:

I have always liked the look of these chassis's, to bad they are never in stock or I might have bought one. Your crawler is looking good, has a good amount of flex to it.

Looks like a pretty rugged chassis, hows it holding up?

Are do those tires stack up against the stockers?

It seems the Rok Loks have a slight edge over everything else.

The Rocklox are like and day with the stockers. Much better grip also alot less push when steering on a downhill. Better sidehill also. They also don't seem to cause as much hop when they do spin. I'd say they are better all around tires, well worth the money. The Chassis is holding up really well, it seems pretty tough and everything is well protected. I haven't really run it much yet and had no major wrecks but I feel confident it will survive. I'm really happy with all my upgrades so far. Nothing was expensive and everything works as I expected, or better.
