Default Precision Tools? WTB

I just received my $28.00 set of Duratrax Precision Hand Tools and am dissapointed to say, none of them are any use for the Micro-Crawler. The set does not include a 4.5mm socket for removing the shocks or tires, The smallest hex tool is 1.5mm so no help on the 1mm socket head cap screws. Not wanting to drop another bundle on a set of useless tools I'm asking where do you guys buy precision drivers and such? Thanks in advance.

Ebay normally has some decent deals, it is where I have gotten all my small nut drivers and allen keys. Just avoid stuff from China, not only does it take a long ass time to get the stuff but the quality is hit and miss.

Most of my stuff consists of Fastrax and Turnigy, good quality and cheap.

Exactly, .050 hex is what you want.

0.050... That explains why I was reading 1.28mm on my calipers. So these Micro Crawlers actually use SAE and metric hardware? Didn't expect that. Thanks for the replies!

I bought a Dynamite and an Eflite .050 and a #00 screw driver, the .050s seem to strip out ez but they were 2.79 each not bad, just cheap hardware, i got mine at Amain hoobies, or you can get a while set for 13 - 15 bucks,

It's .050" or 1.3mm. I think Losi and Integy make 1.3mm in a quality handtool but I'm not sure cause I use 1/4 drives like the 1 in the link below. It's pricey but I have had the larger set(1.5 - 3mm) for about 4 years and they look new and I use them alot for 1/8 gas cars. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Integy .050, 1.5mm and 2mm it`s all you need and work great. If you strip the 0.050 you can just change the tip.

Thanks for the info. I'm checking my LHS to see what they have first. Deans plugs arrived yesterday! I should have something to show soon.

X2 I love that store! Almost any hand tool you need dirt cheap, and then all kinds of other stuff you don't need but end up leaving with it anyway.

I bought these set a couple of weeks ago just to complete the box weight, never though 6 dollar set of tools were going to be any good.. but I was very surprised,, they are very good quality, they are compared to some other brands that charge 8 dollars for each driver.. very hard steel. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=11048
If you look under tools they have the hex drivers and sockets needed for Micro Crawler..
