Default shock question

Hey I was wandering around on THE TOYZ website and I came across some oil filled shocks with piggybacks from the Losi Micro Baja. Would they work. Has anyone tried? I really hate the stock shocks from the micro crawler.

I would think that there is not enough weight in the Micro for those shocks to work correctly.

Personally I think oil filled shocks would hamper performance, it would slow down its ability to conform to the terrain. The stock shocks with a Micro-T rear spring set and some spacers works perfect and softens it up nicely.

I also looked into something similar in the past and making shocks from a Micro T or DT work would take a fair amount of modding. The only direct replacement for the stock shocks are the Hot Racing ones and there is no real performance gain and are a pain in the butt to get working properly.

I have actually thought about getting some delrin rod and making some of my own shocks but that isn't until I get all my tools back out of storage.

I thought the micro-t shocks were about half the length of the micro crawler shocks.
