I think I have figured out the articulation problems.

Care to elaborate? I've done some work to mine, and increased the articulation somewhat by replacing the links with steering links from a mini t. I've also done a MILD bit of relocating attachment points. Nothing like that though, and your pictures aren't big enough for me to see much detail.

Anything more closeup without the body. I can't seem to zoom in on those pics at all. Basically I just wanna know what you did. GRIN

That last picture looks like too much articulation to me, but what do I know.
