Wow! -bent links -inboard shock mounts -bigger battery that fits in the stock location -long driveshafts looks like lots of new accessories people will buy for the normal crawler they basically fixed all the shortcomings of the first mcrc and then slapped a scale body on it |

I can see a lot of parts off the new one being used on the original to make it better. They have definitely done their homework though a lot of good improvements. I can see a lot of people with 4.8" wheel bases once the drive shafts are available to buy on their own. |

This chassis will make a custom Micro build a lot easier to pull off, since you don't have to tear the whole damned thing down and start from scratch anymore. And you might not have to search all over for tires either, if these are a bit smaller than Micro Claws. Hopefully they are. Losi Guys - since you really seem to be listening here, I'd like to suggest some slightly smaller tires please? The current Micro Claw is about the right size for a 1:20th scale styrene model body. Smaller tires would open up a lot more possibilities for 1:24th scale bodies to be used and not look "cartoonish" or monster truck-like. RC4WD is making some nice looking Micro tires, but they're measuring slightly larger than Micro Claws. Somebody needs to expand the Micro tire market, why not the folks who really kicked the whole Micro market into gear in the first place? We need the same variety of tire choices we have for 1.9" The big question now is, how long do we have to wait for these to hit the shelves?? I'm ready to pull the trigger on one (or two) of these, like ASAP... Last edited by Big Mike; 02-17-2011 at 09:45 AM. | |
