Default My Micro Eclipse

Thought I would show off a few pics of my Micro Eclipse. I didn't do anything that hasn't been done before, just took a few ideas from everyones build that I have seen on here, and put it all together.

-Getbent motor on flipped tranny
-Extended & bent links are covered in heat shrink
-Front & rear ball-ends were lowered on axil to help clear the Eclipse chassis
-De-cased & shrink wrapped ESC
-Magicald's photo paper paint trick
-PVC bead lock wheel mod with shot added (2oz. front & 1.5oz. rear)
-Truck weighs 10.7 oz

Default Cool

Great job. I have one of these trucks and love it except I put my ESC/REC inside the cab. Way too tight of a fit so I think I will do it the way yours is.

Will you please let me know the size of the shrink wrap you used for the electronics?

Thank you.

I bought the heat shrink from Harbor Freight in a kit that has an assortment of sizes. The one I used is 51/64.
Thanks

I thought about doing the QLO's, but I think I like the look of the Rok Lox better. Thanks for the picture comments as well. Its amazing what you can do with a piece of 2X3 whiteboard and 2 off camera flashes.

Interesting... I'll have to up to the local Tractor Supply and take a look. They look a bit wide for what I was going for though. I'm trying to keep a scale look about it.

Thanks. Sure, you can use the pictures. I can take a few more where the whole picture will be in focus if you want as well. I threw these together in about 3 mins and didn't realize they were slightly out of focus in spots. I'm picky though. Let me know.
