The leafs are good looking for sure. But I have no idea WTF im doing so, we shall see. Tonight is going to involve a 6pack and figuring how to mount the leafs to the axles. Im thinkin of copying Dr.Kustoms idea on his lil yota. Then i can re-solder my ESC and motor, and make the Drive shafts out of some alluminum. then this weekend, the girl is gonna help me paint up all the details for the interior and body. I am stoked, w the front seats and a lil styrene, i am going to be able to hide the trans pretty well. Ill post some more pics tomorrow, and then post up all the styrene work I did on the shackles etc, etc. |

So i had this granduerous plan of taking pics of every step along the way w/ my 5mp camera, and making one long build post.... But im not one of the cool kids w/ patience... So i get all giddy w/ the shitty cell cam. Its sitting a little high, but my leafs are adjustable. I may just be able to spread them , or I may need to shorten the actual leaf a little bit. either way, that will come after I solder evrything and make some ally shafts Now i just have to; mount the servo under the hood, work the steering link, come up w/ a color scheme for the interior and body, then actually paint all the seats, dash, displays, floor (may use felt and wood) and the exterior. . |

Are you going to shave the fenders to better fit the wheels?

So I got the leafs drilled and mounted to the axles. I had to re-work the front leafs and their shackles. I also got ALL my electronics installed soldered and ready to go, but you cant see them! I just have to take it all apart 1 more time and paint everything. I left room over the servo to mount all the model engine parts, and threaded the fan to go in the servo hole. Im gonna have 3 piles today, One flat black, one silver, and one candy red. here is my base/inspiration for this build. |

I wanted to like, put bloody plastic in the back and make a mini OJ could do a low speed chase w/ it...... But i need her to paint all the itty details because of my fingers. And she picked the flat black scheme. I mean Flat black, im not arguing.

It will turn out good! Looking foward to it. But, since it is what it is, it had to be said? i mean shiat, you could really scale that bugger out with little body bags, little gloves and a kitchen knife laying on the seat. |

Hey now that's looking sweet Bob, it's a great scale RC model with a cool engine compartment and perfect stance. All these hot scale Micro builds lately are making me want one. But you did say pick a nice color, not to be picky but black isn't a color man.. JK it's hot. |

I really like the Bronco! You need the CAC wheels on there. I have a set on my 1:1 Bronco. Save the BWD for the comper. It would be cool to put cut out fender flares on there. You know, just to enlarge the wheel wells a bit. It is sitting on the chassis at a good height. I can't see a bunch of frame under the body in the side shot. Which is good, cuz body lifts are gay as hell. I may have to build a micro scaler... I likes! |

Where did you get the Bronco body? I gotta have one. I have the same 1:1 body style and its flat black too. With the CAC wheels, its identical. Its my tough truck actually. Just broke it bad the other weekend racing it in the stadium at the annual Monster Truck show they have here. Great truck but we really bent the whole suspension. Crowd loved it cuz I had to run the rest of the track. |

you can find it here, and many other places! http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/mon/mon857214.htm Well, my steering idea didnt work out. so i dremmeld the shit out of it, took the servo out, mounted back on the axle and everything is fine and dandy. BUT, w/ the servo on the axle, i now get to use the ENTIRE scale model engine. so Ill have a lot of pics in the next few days
