Default Stock or RC4WD Tires?

I placed an order for some BWD Vertex wheels today for my Trail Trekker and now I'm trying to decide what tires to put on them. I am curious about those of you that have the Rok Lox or Crusher tires, are they really that much better than the stockers? I have looked at the MiniQlo but those are just to big for what I want to do so I think I will pass on them for now.

well, i started with a QLO, then i bought rock crushers, which the compound was a little harder but still quite soft and grippy. iv since bought a set of losi wheels with claws. and im highly disappointed in the compound. iv been watching people with losi crawlers thinking they must be great little tires, but IMHO i just think they feel quite cheap and nasty compared to even an RC4WD tire.. but anyway, i hope you find a tire that you like

The qlos are amazing! I have both them and the loxs and the qlos stick & go over rocks like mad!

the RC4WD tires may be better than the stock McRC tires but the McRC are also much cheaper. If you want scale looks the New MC4x4 trail trekker tires look decent for the price.
4 tires for $5 vs $15 or so for 4 RC4WD tires
as far as performance people seem to like the RC4wd rock crusher

I am more worried about how they perform than look. I like the looks of all of them.

My vote would be the rok lox then. the Qlos are great but bigger than you wanted. i like my rock crushers, but the rok lox seem to have more bite than the crushers.

the MC4x4 tires look like the rok lox but the tread doesnt seem as deep. I guess i will see for sure when they get here

now if you ask me which i like for looks, I love the rc4wd crushers haha
