Default my micro mountain

used 4x4 sheet of 1/4" floor underlayment for base, built mountain with cut and formed blue styrofoam insulation sheeting, used the glue they make especially for it since some glues and paints will melt it.
added real gravel and some rocks with a little expanda foam then painted with the textured paint and primers.
added a burned out jeep for scale look, light and easy to move around and only cost about $75 to build.

micros do well on it, depends on which one i am running as to which side of mountain it will climb, each side has a higher degree of difficulty.

damn man that is a sick course; all i have is a pile of rocks on the deck hahaha. ive got a question, that first pic you posted. what all did you use for that trailer? like parts list wise? think that might add a nice touch to my new rig.

the jeep trailer was done with square brass to build the frame, used brass tubing to build axle and mounted it using crawlerx delrin leaf springs, the bed is from ford stepside truck model kit, added accessories from military model kit. most hobby stores that have military sections for models have small boxes of various accessories for jeeps or what not.

Dude, that trailer is awesome! I've been noodling a Jeep/AEV Brute build and didn't know where I could come up with a bed for it. Thanks for the inspiration.

That is awesome. Where did you find the body? I want to build one just like my 73 F250.

bought the ford body from ebay, it was an old built model someone was selling, they are hard to find and unbuilt models go for big money.
