Just thought I would update. The XYS-20A showed up Monday.
it took 2 weeks to South FL but shipping was free and the XYS ESC was only $11.50
first pic is just a comparison shot of the XYS under a turnigy trackstar and next to a de-cased losi micro ESC/RX board.directly above a micro sidewinder.
2nd pic is the bottom of the XYS board.
haven't hooked it up to power or tried it out yet.
if i have some time this weekend Ill try and get it powering something

yes, but a decased spektrum rx on top of that with a small piece of rubber or something in between would still be a good alternative to the stocker

Don't know yet. Nothing ive found about the esc mentions it but Plan to find out. I did notice the eBay page shows it as 2s capable while everywhere else shows it as 3s capable.

hmm. 2S or 3S. according to the label, its 2S. the label says 4.8v - 8.4v. but hell, for $12 it's worth a shot i guess. i know some of the stock axial esc (AE-1) that come with the honcho's and dingo's can run 3S. though, its hit or miss. some can, some go up in smoke.

I am interested in this also. I seen the esc on ebay but was weary as most of the reviews said there was the one second delay but there must be some way to remove that. Couldnt find a manual anywhere. This might be the ticket though for a scaler. Spoo76 has anyone told you how awesome you are?

I think we have read the same things. I haven't found any other info about reverse delay but i will assume its locked. For the $ and a scaled its not a big deal.
