Default Brass LOSB1713

I need to locate a Brass Transmission gear "Losb1713". I have a newer one and it looks to be black plastic. I don't know when they quite making them but, if anyone can find them I need two. I've checked my local store and they don't have any. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

The black plastic is correct. Micros have no brass trans gears. The only brass gears are the driven gears in the axles that the worm rides on.

Me too? I've never seen one. Maybe I'm too new. It's just a 20 tooth mod 0.5 gear. I wish we could replace both the top and bottom 50 tooth gear with brass units. Not that I've ever hurt a gear set, just peace of mind.

It's actually a 0.3 mod gear. That's what makes it a micro, mini's use 0.4 mod.
With that being said, I'm still on the lookout. If there's something stuck in some old inventory or something. How long ago did they quit making them?

Sorry, missed that. Been packing up and sorting MRC parts to clear out. The Novak pinion set I had in my hands was a 0.5. Typed it without thinking. As for the mini stuff, some say 48 pitch, some say mod 0.5. Depends who you ask it seems.

Its been a few years since I have seen any up for sale.
I think they ran some for the first batch of micros & ran out of stock or the cost of plastic manufacturing was cheaper than brass.
