| Installed New Shocks on Trail Trekker (HR)
I'm sure everyone has read negative reviews on these puppies and somewhat understandably so.. They were not as stiff as I thought they would be right out of the box, but still too stiff for my taste. I removed all the bushings toward the bottom of each shock and cut the springs, which has almost mimicked stock Trekker performance. I also turned them upside down for better COG and removed the blue anodizing from the ends to match the rest of the truck. Up next is some stainless screws to match the rest of the hardware I have replaced. Here's some pics. It has slightly less travel now, but other than that they work nicely! Here's some pics of them installed. If you are willing to do the work to make these perform better then I say, go for it! They look great |

I made them using 2/56 threaded rod, mini t ball ends, and aluminum tubing.
